Hey there!
Orion’s back! (it’s been so long since I’ve drawn my favorite boy!). This time in the world of FMAB : like stated before his favorite weapon is the sword and received one from Ling. He also learned Alkahestry with Al and Mei, since he has natural healing powers, and was taught Alchemy by Ed and Izumi. He sports a cyan Lion tatoo with golden outlines on his right shoulder, matching the golden glow of the sun he’s often associated with, especially because of his light powers.
In this world, he got this strange flame-shaped scar after beign exposed to components of the philosopher’s stone the 5th lab’s underground (something similar to fma 2003 I’ll go into that at some point). While he didn’t absorb the stone, he got this scar hiding his eye of Truth which works similarly to Wrath’s ultimate eye in Brotherhood but in the process of getting this power he did see the Truth without doing a human transmutation, surely because he usually can see things others can’t symbolized by his light element. Ever since, even if he lost sight (in a normal way) from this eye, he can do Alchemy and Alkahestry without tracing a circle.
Hope you enjoy 😊.
Note : Orion is my character. FMA/FMAB belongs to Hiromu Arakawa
FR/FR
Hello!
Note : Orion est mon personnage. FMA/FMAB appartient à Hiromu Arakawa.

So, a month ago I finally got a job as a frontend dev, so, hooray,🥳, I now get to enjoy ✨Vue✨ and ✨Nuxt✨ 5 days a week and get paid for that. But since I've been unemployed for a very long time, this sudden change means that I'm even more tired to learn new things in my spare time, and also that there isn't much spare time now. I haven't posted much here before and so it seems I'm unlikely to be more active here in the future. Sad.
I did, though, try to read the 1st book on the list from the website Teach Yourself Computer Science, the one called Structure and Interpretation of Computer Programs (the reason for me to do that is because I don't have any STEM background, and, I guess, if I want to continue a career in a sphere rapidly encroached by AI, it's good to have some fundamental knowledge). I read about a ⅕ of the book, finally understood what it means for Haskell to be called a "lazy" language, but the exercises at the end of the chapters are too hard and math-heavy for me. Also, sad.
The book uses a programming language from the LISP family, called Scheme. I thought I could get by by installing Clojure instead, but that journey ended with the VS Code extension for Clojure, called Calva slowing down and then completely corrupting (?) WSL connection, so that I had then to reinstall my WSL "instance". (Yes, I use Windows, because I'm not a programmer). Which is sad, because the extension looked good and feature-heavy, it just couldn't function well in WSL environment for some reason…
After that, I installed Racket (another LISP) on the freshly reinstalled WSL distro, but then I couldn't pick up the book again and continue learning for, like, a week and a half, which is where I am at now. (Racket allows to define arbitrary syntax/semantics for the compiler, which in turn allows developers to create new domain specific languages distributed simply as Racket packages, with one of those packages being the dialect of Scheme used by SICP, the book mentioned earlier).
There is also the PureScript book, Functional Programming Made Easier by Charles Scalfani, which I'm unlikely to finish ever. The language is neat (it's very similar to Haskell, but compiles to JavaScript), but a bit overcomplicated for a simple goal of making interfaces. I do think, however, that I might try learning Elm at some point: the amount of time I've spent at work, trying to understand, why and at what point the state of some component mutated in a Nuxt app is, honestly, impressive, and I want to try something built around the idea of immutability.

Looking to Upgrade Your Old UI? Time to Hire VueJS Developers
In today’s digital world, your website or application’s user interface (UI) is often the first impression your brand makes. If your platform still uses outdated UI elements, slow-loading pages, or poor responsiveness on mobile, you’re not just behind the curve, you're losing customers.
A modern user interface is more than just a new look. It’s about creating an engaging, dynamic experience that encourages interaction, boosts conversion rates, and builds long-term customer loyalty.
If you’re thinking about upgrading your UI, now is the perfect time to hire VueJS developers. VueJS is one of the most flexible and powerful frontend frameworks available, and it has quickly become the go-to choice for businesses aiming to create responsive, high-performing interfaces.
In this blog, we’ll cover why VueJS is the smart choice for UI upgrades, what makes VueJS developers valuable, and how the right team can transform your digital experience.
What Is VueJS?
VueJS is an easy to use and adaptable JavaScript tool for building user interfaces and one page applications. Unlike heavier frameworks, VueJS is incredibly fast, flexible, and easy to integrate into existing projects making it ideal for UI modernization.
Vue’s reactive components make your website feel more like a native app fluid, intuitive, and highly responsive.
Why Your Old UI Is Hurting Your Business
Let’s start with the obvious: if your UI looks and feels old, your users will notice. Outdated user interfaces can lead to:
Poor first impressions
High bounce rates
Low customer engagement
Negative brand perception
Missed conversion opportunities
Today’s users expect sleek, responsive, and interactive digital experiences. If your app or website doesn’t deliver that, they’ll bounce to a competitor that does.
Tumblr media

Some personal and job related ramblings…
It's been a while since I posted anything.
Lately I've been returning home from work feeling even more tired than usual, and I don't think the reason for that is physical exhaustion, but some psychological reason, the exact nature of which I don't fully understand. (I'm unfortunately not good at deciphering deep undercurrents of my psyche). It's probably not stress, though it could be: after my senior colleague left I became technically the most senior frontend developer on the team (which is ridiculous considering it hasn't even been a year after I found this job, my first developer job ever). Am I stressed out by the weight of responsibility? We are still in the process of completely rewriting our internal components library in Nuxt 3 and I need to do things and think about things I haven't ever done or thought about on a daily basis. On the other hand, both we as a team and me personally are still well within the deadline to finish this job + our company is very backend focused, so mistakes are tolerated.
I do think though, that me being the most senior frontend person available is not right. I would've prefered a job where that's not the case, but then I think about rewritng my CV/resume/whatever-you-call-that-thing-in-English and updating my "portfolio site" (since the last version made with Gatsby just doesn't accurately represent my experience working exclusively with Vue and Nuxt) and I just… I come home from work and the only thing I manage to do is lie on the bed like a fallen tree on the ground for a [long] bit and then watch some TV series before going to sleep. How exactly do I manage to prepare for leaving this job and searching for a new one?
I also had plans to "broaden my horizon" and learn more about programming. Sadly, the plans remained just that, plans. My previous post was about installing Elixir, and then I didn't do anything with it. (I should probably brush up on Docker and SQL before breaking my brains trying to understand another programming language).
I did manage to practice some reading in Spanish, though. (This blog is "officially" codeblr/langblr, so I'm including this information here). Hooray. 💖
Anyway. Don't know where to find 💪the strength💪 to do the things that need to be done. Hope to find it soon? Or at least at all? Yeah…

5 Essential Skills to Look for When You Hire a Vue.js Developer
Tumblr media
Vue.js is quickly becoming the preferred front-end framework for companies wishing to create adaptable, high-performing web apps. The developer behind your user interface frequently determines its quality, whether you're working on an MVP or developing a sophisticated platform.
For this reason, a lot of tech firms are opting to use Vue.js engineers to power their projects. Hiring someone with Vue knowledge alone won't help; you need someone who knows the framework and its ecosystem better. When hiring vue js developers, you should look for the five essential abilities listed below.
Build Better Interfaces by Hiring the Right Front-End Talent
Core proficiency in Vue.js
Although it may seem apparent, a strong grasp of Vue's fundamental features—reactive data binding, components, directives, and lifecycle hooks—is the cornerstone of any successful Vue developer. Additionally, a strong applicant should understand when and how to use Vue Router and Vue CLI.
Make sure Vue.js engineers are at ease with Vue 3 and the Composition API before hiring them for long-term projects. For scalable applications, current IT businesses desire enhanced performance and better code organization, which the most recent version offers.
Deep knowledge of JavaScript and ES6+
Since Vue.js is based on JavaScript, knowing how to use contemporary JavaScript (ES6+) is essential. The ideal developer should feel at ease with promises, destructuring, array methods, arrow functions, and template literals. This guarantees their ability to write code that is clear, modular, and maintainable. Additionally, it's critical that they comprehend how JavaScript works with the DOM, particularly when responsiveness and performance are major considerations.
Experience in front-end ecosystems and tools
Vue is rarely utilized alone. It is frequently integrated by developers with testing libraries like Jest, Axios for managing APIs, and Vuex for state management. Proficient Vue.js developers should be able to use Webpack or Vite to create effective development pipelines. Knowing CSS pre-processors like SASS or LESS is also a plus because many tech businesses demand front-end engineers to know how to use them.
For this reason, it is essential to hire front-end developers who are knowledgeable with all aspects of contemporary online tools, not just the framework.
API integration and backend collaboration
The work of front-end developers is not isolated. They must communicate with RESTful APIs and backend systems with ease. Seek applicants who have experience working in teams utilizing Agile approaches and who are proficient in processing authentication tokens, testing API endpoints, and gracefully handling errors. To prevent a skills mismatch, be sure to include this criterion if you are working with an IT staffing agency.
Problem-solving and communication skills
Technical proficiency is important, but so is the ability for independent problem-solving and effective communication. The top Vue.js developers collaborate as often as they code. They grasp the business implications of their code, provide better solutions, and pose pertinent questions. These soft skills can have a significant impact on the success of a project, whether you're working with a small startup or a huge tech company.
Concluding Thoughts
Hiring Vue js developers involves more than just checking off boxes on a CV. Professionals who are well-versed in the framework, work well with others, and stay up to date with changing tech stacks are what you require. Hiring the appropriate person can improve your front-end experience, cut down on development time, and increase the marketability of your product.

Why Tailwind CSS Is Changing Modern Web UI Design?
In recent years, the web design world has seen a significant shift in how developers and designers approach styling—thanks to Tailwind CSS. From startups to enterprise-level companies, Tailwind CSS has quickly become the go-to utility-first CSS framework. But why is Tailwind CSS changing modern web UI design so dramatically?
Let’s break it down.
1. Utility-First Means More Control
Tailwind CSS doesn’t rely on predefined UI components. Instead, it gives you low-level utility classes like flex, pt-4, text-center, and more. These small, atomic classes give developers full control over styling without writing custom CSS.
This method promotes consistency and allows for faster development. You're building designs directly in your HTML—no context-switching between HTML and CSS files.
2. Faster Prototyping = Quicker Results
Designers and developers love how quickly they can bring a layout to life with Tailwind. With built-in classes for spacing, typography, colors, and responsive design, prototyping becomes incredibly efficient.
In fact, many UI/UX teams are using Tailwind to create and iterate on designs faster than ever—without needing complex design systems from scratch.
3. Responsive Design Made Easy
Tailwind’s mobile-first responsive utilities make it easier to adapt your design across breakpoints. Rather than redefining styles in separate media queries, you can do it inline with classes like md:w-1/2 or lg:flex-row. This means fewer files, less code, and cleaner breakpoints baked into your markup.
4. Built for Modern Development Stacks
Tailwind CSS integrates seamlessly with modern frameworks like React, Vue, Angular, Next.js, and more. It works wonderfully in component-based design systems and plays well with tools like PostCSS and PurgeCSS for performance optimization.
5. Customizable and Scalable
One of Tailwind’s strongest points is its configuration file (tailwind.config.js). This file allows developers to define custom color palettes, fonts, breakpoints, and more—resulting in a design system that scales with the product.
It lets teams enforce a consistent look across apps while still having the flexibility to change styles when needed.
6. Growing Ecosystem and Community
The Tailwind community is booming. From Tailwind UI (prebuilt components by the creators) to plugins and themes, there's a growing ecosystem supporting faster development.
The documentation is also one of the best out there—clear, well-organized, and packed with examples.
Final Thoughts
Tailwind CSS isn’t just a trend—it’s a fundamental shift in how we build interfaces. It empowers developers to create clean, scalable, and responsive UIs with less effort and more consistency.
If you're still relying on traditional CSS or bulky frameworks, it might be time to consider why Tailwind CSS is becoming the new standard for modern web design.
Let me know if you'd like this converted into a LinkedIn post, blog header image prompt, or want anchor texts and service mentions like "hire frontend developer" or "custom web development services" linked to Netzila Technologies.
